Hello,

I'm having another problem with the enterprise console. I installed Sophos on 2 machines via the console, but they keep showing an hourglass. is this normal?

Hello Jo,
an hourglass is this normal - yes and no, in case of a problem it's yes :smileywink:
Did I understand you correctly that you installed a new console version (4.7?) on a different server? If so - did you export/import the Certification Manager regkeys? Anyway you should check the Sophos Network Communications Report for the correct parent. If the clients have been protected previously, this article might apply.

Thanks, but i already tried that. The conf files are correct now. but it still shows an hourglass.

Update: now the icons changed to grey, which means: A gray computer sign means that the computer is not managed by Enterprise Console. It's strange because I installed sophos via the console.

Problem's solved. The server's firewall was on. As soon as I disabled it, i got a nice blue icon from the machines. Sorry for my stupidity.
