Why Wont Sophos Install?

I have a Macbook Pro running Sierra and I have downloaded version 9.6.1 of the Home version of Sophos. When I try to install I get a message saying that the installation failed and I should remove Sophos and try again. I removed Sophos and tried again. Same result. I have been through this 3 or 4 times now and it still won't work. Any ideas?
