macOS Sierra 10.12 update failures?

Hey everyone, we've had a few reports of updating failures after updating to the latest macOS Sierra 10.12 public beta. If you are seeing this, can you get in touch? We'd like to get a copy of any crash reports you might have.

Hi Bob

As soon as I Upgraded to Sierra, Sophos was sent to Incompatible Software Folder and realtime Scanner Disabled. In fact all was disabled and so I uninstalled Sophos and tried to use a new Installer from the Admin Portal and I receive the following message:

The required configuration file SophosCloudConfig.plist is missing from the Sophos Installer Components folder. The installer cannot continue.

Hi Bob,

I am experiencing this issue when upgrading to macOS Sierra 10.12 from El Capitan 10.11.6. Please let me know which logs you would like to me send your way.

Hi Aditya,

I followed the instructions you provided, which allows me to install Sophos Home for Mac OS X 10.12, however, I am not able to receive updates from the software. I receive the following error message when trying to run updates on Sophos Home: "Sophos AutoUpdate daemon cannot update at this time." Is there any way to update this part of the software?

HI Kyle ,

Could you check two things ,

[1]. Check if the "SophosAutoUpdate.app" is located in "Incompatible Software". If it is then you would need to relocate to /library/Sophos Anti-virus/ .

[2]. Enable IPv4 and IPv6

I would advise to check the 1st Step its most likely the issue as of Now the Mac OS 10.12 is Beta version and so it may not match the compatible listings.
