Sophos Safeguard uninstall

Today we tried to uninstall Sophos safeguard on a client. Unfortunately, the uninstallation does not succeed as desired and the error message appears that the sophos safeguard client configuration module must first be uninstalled. What is the best practice for uninstalling Safeguard on the client?

I would also add that I would create a configuration package that includes the allowing removal policy. This way if that device can’t receive the updated policy (server or client offline) then the uninstall can still complete. All you need do then is install the updated configuration settings over the top of the old one. That’s IF you’ve enabled that setting in the first place.
