I personally, have struggled with updates in the sense of finding the correct KB for what it is I am doing. When I find them, they're usually good quality, showing pre-requisites etc prior to install. But if there are know issues, these don't seem to be reflected by an updated handbook/manual etc. Rather you install an update, then have a known issue which has a patch to fix it. It would be musch simpler to be aware of that in advance so you can just install it immediately afterwards.
