PMX - Syncing publications between hosts

Hello,

I have 2 hosts running PMX - pmx1 and pmx2.

pmx2 is to replace pmx1 as the production server and i would like to sync all of the publicatitons from pmx1 to pmx2, the problem is that they are both running different versions of PMX, would there be any problems on doing this?
