We are using the Virtual Webserver as a reverse proxy to load balance between our Web Servers. On the physical servers we do not have keep alive enabled.
I was expecting to see the Keeplive setting on the Virtual Webserver, not on the Real Webserver section.
Could someone elaborate how the Real Webserver Keepalive works? Who is that between, Sophos and the Physical Server, the Client and Physical Server, the Client and Sophos?
As the clients are round robin to each Real Webserver, and get the next Real Webserver each request (desired) how does this keepalive work? We do not want sticky session, but would like keepalive between the client and Sophos so the SSL (offloaded to Sohpos) doesn't have to renegotiate on each request.
Any help appreciated!
