WAF and 2012 R2 Essentials Anywhere Access

I've run into a bit of trouble publishing Anywhere Access with WAF.  I've followed the guide for publishing RDP Gateway since Anywhere Access essentially is RDP Gateway (from what I understand), however I skipped the URL hardening section.

It works in that I can get to the page with my URL, I can login and I can then see the status of the PCs added in 2012 R2 Essentials.  If I click a PC to remote on to it, it will get the RDP file and it will ask me for my credentials but then it just gets stuck Initiating the RDP connection until it times out.  I can't see any errors in the WAF log and I can't see any blocks in the Firewall log and I'm kind of at a loss to what's going on. 

If I port forward 443 to a server I have running 2012 R2s Web Application Proxy that I have set up to essentially do the same thing that I'm trying to get WAF to do it works perfectly

    Sure. Here are my rules. Should note I'm seeing inconsistent behavior in the RDP gateway functionality (I've posted my logs in another thread). Sometimes it works, other times (most times) it doesn't.

    Here are my HTTP rule sets. Its pretty basic really:
    Name: HTTP
    Interface: External
    Type: HTTP
    Port: 80
    Domains: (domain name configured in Essentials anywhere access)
    Firewall Profile: HTTP Protection
    Advanced: Pass Host Header

    Real Web Server
    Name: HTTP
    Host: Object for Essentials Server
    Type: Plaintext
    Port: 80
    Advanced: Enable HTTP Keepalive

    Firewall Profile:
    Name: HTTP Protection
    Mode: Monitor
    Cookie Signing: Checked
    Form Hardening: Checked
    Block Clients with bad reputation: Checked
    -------------------------------------

    That's it, no exceptions to this profile.
