I am planning to use Web Server Security for a web server hosted at Amazon. I have an astaro firewall hosted at Amazon providing access to my Amazon private cloud.
I understand that if I want to install a certificate for my web server, I should do this on the firewall.
What type of certificate do I need, and do I need more than one certificate is I have more than 1 webserver?
Hi, most SSL certificates (Godaddy, Verisign, etc.) should work. You may also need to import the parent certificate chain.
If each server has a different domain name, you can use a multi-domain certificate (godaddy sells them), or a different cert (and different public IP address) for each.
