Hopefully someone can answer these questions; I couldn't find the answers in the documentation.
I want to have two or more webservers in a farm behind an Astaro with WAF. When configuring one virtual server and two or more physical servers; how does the load distribution work? Is it least connections, round-robin, primary/secondary etc? And does it use sticky sessions?
Great question, B; I don't think that's been been asked here before. Your reseller should be able to get the answer from Astaro - it would be great if you would post it back here.

Hi there,
we picked up your question and added the respective information to our online help (with version 9.004):
"The implemented request counting algorithm automatically assigns each new request to the webserver with the lowest number of active requests at present."
I am going to be using the load balancing when I build my new nodes but I have not tested the sticky session handling yet. It is an option though.
1) Site Path Routing tab 2) Click Edit on the default created item from when you created the virtual web server 3) Under "Advanced Backend Settings" enable "Use sticky session cookie for backend selection"
