No Outlook anywhere through Astaro as Web Proxy

Hi all,

Hope you are doing well.

I have this case which is I installed Astaro as Web proxy and everything is working fine except if the people check box for proxy setting in their Internet Explorer they can't connect to their outdoor MS Exchange by Outlook Anywhere.

If they uncheck for proxy setting they can connect to their outdoor MS Exchange.

Any help and thanks in advance.

    This could be a DNS issue, possibly your web proxy cannot resolve the address.  Under support in the astaro in the tools you can do a dns lookup.

    No, it can resolve the address and they access Outlook Web Access but no access for Outlook Anywhere and the 2 techs are using HTTPS.

    Version of Astaro?

    Do other accesses via the staro proxy work correctly?  If one exists, please show the httpproxy log line where an access failed.

    If this is their own Exchange server, shouldn't direct access be fine?  They should just add the address of the server to 'Exceptions' in 'Proxy Settings'.  That also can be done with a GPO or via a PAC file.
