[8.101] Update Tomtom Home

Hello,

With the proxy https, I can no longer be updating the software Tomtom Home.

I have a certificate error message. Yet the CA certificate is installed. I even wanted to make an exception, but it does not work.

    Exceptions, in some cases, are broken in Version 8.101.  You can try the 8.102 up2date (currently in soft-release) which includes a patch that fixes the exception issue.  You can find the up2date at ftp.astaro.de

    I just put the patch 8102. I still have the same problem. The exception HTTPS does not work. Or I can not do.
    Unable to update the TomTom Home software.

    Sorry for the super late reply... (Topic bumping) But I've come across the same issue, and after messing around I've found that these HTTP Proxy Exception Rulesets works...
    On the 'Exceptions' tab on the HTTP/S Proxy configuration... Create a new rule...
    Select import, and put these rules
    ^https?://[A-Za-z0-9.-]*tomtom.com
    ^https?://[A-Za-z0-9.-]*tomtom.com:*
    ^https?://85.90.*.*

    Make sure you check the option that says SSL Scanning, so it wont have any certificate errrors.

    The IP address range was because it kept communication with several IPs on that range, all of which are owned by the TomTom company... So instead of entering every IP, I just put in the IP range.
    These will allow TomTom Home to function without any certificate errors...
    I just bought a TomTom GPS device today and was playing around with it and came across the same issue, but I eventually got it working. [:)]
