I have a Sophos UTM9 cluster where each firewall is connected to two different ISPs (let’s call them WAN1 for Provider A and WAN2 for Provider B). Let’s name the interfaces 1-2 (node 1) and 3-4 (node 2).
I want that:
1) the traffic to failover from interface 1 to interface 3 if interface 1 goes down.
2) If both interfaces onthe primary provider (1 and 3) are down, I want the traffic to switch to interface 2.
3) Additionally, I’d like the traffic to revert back to interface 1 once the primary connection is restored.
I get also confused by the failover link on the HARDWARE section of "interface" under "interfaces & Monitoring"..help is kindly needed
