We have a pair of SG 310 rev.1 UTMs running firmware 9.720 in Active-Passive HA configuration.
One of these appears to have suffered a failure of the internal storage, so needs to be replaced. We have raised a support call and an associated RMA has been created.
As part of this Sophos have advised that they will replace both of the rev.1 units with rev.2 hardware as they are unable to supply rev.1 hardware.
This appears to raise an issue, according to Sophos:
"Only the same model and revision are supported for an HA or cluster setup. This also applies to SG and XG models, which means you cannot have a mix of UTM and SG or XG models."

Therefore it seems we cannot simply replace the failed rev.1 unit with a new rev.2 unit (and then replace the currently operational rev.1 unit with the second rev.2 unit).
I note that a similar question has been raised by another community member in the past, they had enquired if it was necessary to create a new HA with the new hardware and restore configuration. There did not appear to be a conclusive answer to this enquiry.
Does anyone have knowledge/experience of this, or is able to link to a support article that explains what actions need to be performed in this scenario?
TIA
