i see very high RAM Usage on my UTM

Why my RAM spike on  00.00/06.00/12.00/18.00/24.00 ?

  • Some of the issue that you are showing here are for one, your interval in PRTG.  You have it going every 30 seconds, so you are going to get a drilled down, more specific graph.  UTM's graphs are not that frequent and are going to show usage more... spread out and even.  This makes it more difficult to read and compare the PRTG/UTM intervals.  I *think* UTM is every couple of hours by default (Ask someone on that).  So, the spikes using PRTG are going to be more obvious and predominant.

    I'd like to see the apples to apples comparison of that for what you posted.

  • On the UTM's graphs, the interval for daily graphs is 5 minutes, so the PRTG graphs have ten times as much detail.  The other issue is that the PRTG graphs adjust the scale to show the maximum of the values whereas the UTM graphs always use a scale of up to 100%.

    Everything looks normal to me.
