Memory Peak UTM release 9.605-1

Hi,

check some other SG 9.605.

Don't see this in local reporting.

Do you see the memory usage within local reporting too?

You may use TOP tool at your device and press "M" for sorting by memory-usage.

Seem some process is "eating" your memory an at 0/6/12/18 you get this memory back. (process is terminated or internal clenup run)

Do you alter/install something within your SG from CLI?

Please show the CPU Usage graph from Reporting in the UTM for 9/11.  Also a screencap of your settings on the 'Configuration' tab of 'Up2Date'.

These look like graphs from PRTG, is that correct?  I never got mine to read the UTM correctly, and stopped using it.

Some of the issue that you are showing here are for one, your interval in PRTG.  You have it going every 30 seconds, so you are going to get a drilled down, more specific graph.  UTM's graphs are not that frequent and are going to show usage more... spread out and even.  This makes it more difficult to read and compare the PRTG/UTM intervals.  I *think* UTM is every couple of hours by default (Ask someone on that).  So, the spikes using PRTG are going to be more obvious and predominant.

I'd like to see the apples to apples comparison of that for what you posted.

On the UTM's graphs, the interval for daily graphs is 5 minutes, so the PRTG graphs have ten times as much detail.  The other issue is that the PRTG graphs adjust the scale to show the maximum of the values whereas the UTM graphs always use a scale of up to 100%.

Everything looks normal to me.

Maybe run a atop logging and analyse this.
