Website blacklisted by Sophos

Hi.

Clients have problems accessing my website:

www.clockworkentertain.com

due to age restrictions.

I have checked all safety sites, Google, AVG etc and they all report that site is safe.

The only site that report the website as unsafe is Sophos.

The website has safety protocols in place, including limited log-in, Sophos authenticator and security software.

Why does all other check site report no problem, whereas Sophos does?

Any advice welcome.

  • Possible your server is hosted at a server which is hosting malware or sending spam too.

  • Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

My host have checked the IP and the results can be seen at https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=blacklist%3a119.8.34.117&run=toolpage

The servers are located in Hong Kong.

I have also checked the website on various 'safe checker' sites: https://www.ssltrust.com.au/ssl-tools/website-security-check?domain=www.clockworkentertain.com

The only issue that can be seen is with 'Sophos' and no others.

    How best to proceed ?

    Thanks

  • This site is for Sophos users and administrators.  People here volunteer their time.  You post to this forum with an assumed Anglo-Saxon name via a VPN to hide your true location.  You give us no reason to trust you.  Maybe you're one of the hackers everyone here tries to keep our customers and coworkers safe from.  You won't get any help here.

  • Thank you for your help.

I have no reason to mislead or try to hide my location, as you stated.

    1. I use a VPN as I am based in China and therefore unable to access many sites that may help solve my problem.

    2. If you search my name, you will find that I have credible existence (FB, LinkedIn).

    3. I own and manage 3 websites which have been targeted by hackers. As a note..I have had to rebuild many times due to persistence of hackers, even with heightened security.

As stated/shown in my previous posts, I am just trying to find the reason why one of my sites is blacklisted by Sophos.

I fail to see how I can obtain useful information about how to 'hack' your, or anybody elses sites, by simply asking how can I unblacklist my site.

If I caused offence then truly, that is not my intention.
