Anyone else having issues with AP6 and Central Management?

So I've noticed sometimes it takes a LONG time for AP6 units to update their configuration when a change is made..  Sometimes I've had to power cycle one (this is testing one at our site -- we have customers on these too)... there is nothing blocking their comms at the firewall (they are sending telemetry to Central just fine).  Sometimes provisioned SSIDs don't appear, takes several LONG intervals to take them away from APs, wait for them to update (for a very long time) then try to add them back, etc.

How often are these APs supposed to poll Central for config updates, etc?

  • Also at some point will they stop rebooting after config changes?

      • Yeah, the current issue at this one customer site with a couple of their SSIDs not even broadcasting persists.  Having the tech on that case (our case) start a case with Sophos support.  They are still working a case regarding the APs not aligning their guest captive portal timeframes to our timezone (this is at another customer).  I guess maybe I'm the only one seeing these issues?

        • Case ID 02360250  in case anyone is interested, just opened.  When the customer power cycles the APs, the 2 "guest" networks appear briefly on devices to be selected then disappear, never to be seen again.

          • Welp... looks like same time zone issue I reported in another thread (these 2 networks are using time restrictions) ... the other case has been mired down, no results yet for the other customer with this same issue (as it appears).  Basically the APs are not respecting the time zone settings for the site, etc. (yes, they are set correctly in central).  Seems to be a bug.
