DNS protection - apply to specific networks-hosts

As mentioned, I have already set this up in the XG level. However, I dont see the ability to exclude some users/devices/hosts from it, since its on the device level of the firewall.

The only option I can think of to exclude devices would be to configure those devices directly to use a different DNS service other than DNS Protection.
