Wildcarding domains through domain lists

Do you have any plans to allow wildcarding under domain lists? 
 Several notable social media platforms that have come government restriction have large internet footprints that span multiple domains. however their brand is always in the domain name.

 Adding a domain example.com in Domain List is equivalent to [*.]example.com. So if you add this domain list to a policy block, it will block all of its sub domain. Example abc.example,com, abc.xyz.example.com, abc.pqr.xyz.example.com 
 Please do share with us a sample regex and its use case which is not covered by current Domain list functionality, so that we can evaluate the feature ask
