RED device configuration provides internet with no connection to the XG

Hello,

does RED device has a configuration option (or workaround) that allow the branch office to remain connected to the internet, while the Sophos XG is down?. We have it configured in standard/split. Does transparent mode help with this? Is there any other way besides Transparent mode (in case that one works).

    RED depends on XG/UTM. If the connection goes down or UTM/XG is not available, the RED will reboot and try to download the config and reach the UTM/XG.

    For connectivty, you can use RED 50 that has dual WAN port or use 3G USB dongle. XG/UTM should never go down. Think about an HA.
