Hello,
I am trying to establish an IPSEC Vconnection between 2 XGS firewalls. One firewall has a fixed IP, one has a dynamic IP and we use DynDNS. Unfortunately, the connection cannot be established. I have already adjusted the encryption policy several times but unfortunately it does not work. Here is an excerpt from the logs:
parsed IKE_AUTH response 1 [ N(AUTH_FAILED) ]
received AUTHENTICATION_FAILED notify error
[GARNER-LOGGING] (child_alert) ALERT: Couldn't authenticate the local gateway. Check the authentication settings on both devices.
What else can be checked?
