We are looking for USB modem 3G/4G compatible with XG85 or XG105 that 100% works.

Exist "Appendix D - USB Dongle Compatibility List" but It is not clear wich work or not (probable, possible, unlikely, etc.). I'm not going to try hundreds modem USB, not viable.

  • The point is, most of those vendors build multiple sticks with different chips but the same model number.

    Little Example:

    Huawei
    E3276s-150

    LTE CAT4
    12d1:14fe
    12d1:1506
    NCM
    Probable
    Huawei
    E3276s-150

    LTE CAT4
    12d1:157c
    12d1:1506
    NCM
    Unlikely
    Huawei
    E3276s-150
    Swisscom
    LTE CAT4
    12d1:1597
    12d1:1598
    Serial and NCM
    Unlikely

As you can see, you could get one, which will work, but you could bought one, which is not working.

We are going to support more in the future. But at the moment, nobody can tell you, which Stick will work, if you not try it...

  • Good morning.

Finally we have chosen one router 4G with sim slot (TP-LINK TL-MR6400) to discard compatibility issues and better coverage that USB modems.

    Thaks LuCar.
