apple itunes port opening

Question

when installing SMC 4.0 it checks access to apple itunes and since my firewall is not open does not wllow me to install is there a workaround so that i can go ahead with installation and later open necessary ports

1.Open the command line
2.Navigate to the location where the setup.exe is located.
3.Run setup.exe /ignorecheckresults
