Phone was stolen, now what? How do I use the location feature?

My phone (Samsung Galaxy 3 Note was stolen. I installed the Sophos security system on it, but now how do use the location tracking, SIM change detection, etc? Please help, as I am new to using this system.

 sorry for the late reply. 
 In general you can find information how to use the Loss & Theft feature in the online documentation . 
 You first have to configure a password for the SMS commands and a trusted sender. So if you haven't done that while still possessing the device, you cannot use the features. 
 If you have configured a password and a sender, simply send one of the commands from your trusted number to your device using e.g. " alarm password " or " locate password ".
