Run Task-Bundle after auto-enrollment with Apple Configurator on SMC 5.1

We do auto-enrollment of iOS Devices via the Apple Configurator 2 (No "Device enrollment program"). So far it works fine. The Device is added to SMC and is managed.

Now we would like to automatically run a task bundle when a new device auto-enrolls, e.g. install a managed app or install a profile. Did I miss the settings for that or is that not possible. We run SMC 5.1.

Best,

Linnart

  • Hi Linnart,

you can use the compliance rules and use the "Transfer task bundle" action e.g. if a specific app is missing.
However, I recommend to update to SMC 6.0.5 first as there was a bug related to the compliance rules and task bundles in SMC 5.1.

    Best regards
