Locate command not working

Hello,

My father has a Samsung Galaxy Win Duo.

No custom ROM

Android ver. 4.1.2

After instaling the Sophos mobie security ... my father and i decided to test it.

every command i sent from my phone (... lock...unlock... ) works as intended

only the locate command dont work ... the phone recives the sms command ( ...displays the command and the password.. ).. but nothing hapens.

anny ideas?

    Hello,

    can you please try again and verify if the other device activates the GPS module?

    It may take some time until the device as fixed the location and sends it back.

    unfortunately the problem persists.

    I have tested the gps module this way:

    1- sent the locate command from my phone to my father phone

    2- we went for a walk using wazze ... and it worked fine.

    3- more then 2 hours late ... i did not receive anny response from the locate command

    i´ve tried uninstal and re-install the software... but the same problem occur.

    i´ve tested diferent passwords... from single digit to single phrase... number sequences like 1234 ...etc...

    PS:

    ( correct me if im wrong... but the comand locate + password should´t be dsplayed on my father phone display ...correct ? ).

    This is the only command that is intrepreted as a "regular" sms text.
