Wi-Fi

WiFi

Hi,

in our company we have several WiFi  (WiFi-Guest, WiFi-Trainee, WiFi-Employee). Is there any way to enforce the client from MDM to connect to certain WiFi (Trainee)? The WiFi-Guest is open and the issue is that the mobile device (iOS) is connecting time to time to the Guest WiFi.

I would be thinkful if you have any solution for that issue.

    Hi WiFi,

    the only possibility I could think of would be, that you deploy the "WiFi-Trainee" configuration to the necessary devices and make sure that the checkbox at "Connect automatically" is set. This way, they should automatically connect to that network.

    Furthermore, you could also deploy the "WiFi-Guest" configuration in addition to these devices but this time clear the "Connect automatically" checkbox.

    This way, all configurations are known to the device, but the auto connect is only done for the "WiFi-Trainee".

    Please be aware that this procedure is just an assumption, I haven't tested it.
