Lock the settings for Android

Question

Hi,

need to be abe to lock the settings on an Android device. It seems as though I can set an app protection password but that even must be set on the device..?

If I already have devices in the field how do I get the system settings protected (Company Devices) so no one can get to them?

Hi Jason, instead of the "App protection" profile you might want to use the "App Control" profile. Using this profile and the identifier " com.android.settings" (Note: this identifier might be different on different Android versions). If you deploy this profile to an Android device, the "Settings" app cannot be opened anymore. However, this might have also consequences on e.g. quick access settings. Best regards Stefan :54883
