Error showing Sophos Web Client

Hi there,

So I think I've sucessfully installed SMC on to my server, and installed a new CA from apple using the certification Wizard. However I can't seem to load the http or https pages on the server, i just get the "Invalid certificate" error page. Both SMC services are running but I have no idea how to get around this? I've tried revoking and reissuing the cert and creating a new APN but still no luck...please help!

    Hi Labrat,

    this sounds strange and I am not sure what you have exactly done.

    Please be aware that the certificate which you create at the Apple website should not be used for the step "Configure server certificate".

    The certificate created at the Apple website is only used to authenticate at the Apple service which enables the communication with iOS devices.

    For the server certificate either purchase an SSL certificate from a trusted vendor or create a self signed certificate using the Configuration Wizard.

    Hi there,

    It turned out I was using the wrong certificate for the configuration of SMC, once I selected Self-signed it worked fine.
