Webpage Not Available ???

Hi Folks,

OK, totally stuck. I've installed 3.6 of SMC and configured same. I'm trying to configure my first android phone. I get the pin code and then the sms with the link of the software but when I click on it, it comes up "Webpage not available" ??? I then tried another way by manually installing SMC from Play. This worked and clicking on the config file does all the correct things (i.e. asking me to allow it to access phone) but in order to get it managed, it wants to install the client (which i think is older than on play.com) thus the task fails. I have uploaded the latest client (apk file) but cannot edit the default bundle so this is taken over version 2.0. Any ideas ???

    Hi SMullin,

    this sounds strange.

    By default the Sophos Mobile Control client should be installed using the download from the Google Play Store.

    Maybe the client package is not correctly configured or there is something wrong with the package?
    Is the link displayed in the SMS you received correctly referring to your Sophos Mobile Control server?

    To get this sorted iout quickly, I suggest to raise a ticket with our support
