Bulk provisioning

Hi,

Can you bulk provision handsets in SMC 3.6?

I have 45 android devices to roll out and it would be quicker if IT could hand them out ready to go.

They will be switching from other handsets (Blackberry) so I'll have to SIM swap (actually reburn) at swap time.

What options do I have?

    Hi Damien,

    in general, you have the possibility to import a list of devices into the SMC web console.

    To import a list click on "Devices" and then the "Import" button. There, you can also download an example list.

    Once you have created your list, you upload it and if everything is correct, devices will be added to the SMC "Devices" list.

    Then you can create a task bundle which covers all profiles / configuration for your devices.
    This task bundle thne can be sent out to all the imported devices.


    However, all steps on the devices itself have to be done manually (e.g. client download, activation of the device admin).

    This way, you can prepare the devices for the users but it still requires manual interaction by IT.

    There is no way to do that unattended at the moment.
