Device Enrollment option in Apple Configurator

this is currently not supported by SMC 3.6.

We will have a look at this setting and hopefully support it in a future version of SMC.

Is there anywhere that documents the proposed roadmap for SMC - What additional features are we likley to see and when?

I am only just starting with the product and so far have found it useful, but also frustrating as there are many things I am unable to manage ion an iPad

I appreciate that this is probably duwe to the limitations imposed on third party MDMs by Apple but would still be interested to see what enhancements might be in the pipeline

unfortunately, there is no official document available showing the roadmap of SMC.

Maybe you can ask your Sophos sales representative about additional information on this topic.

I am aware that there can be several improvments within the product but we rely on the functionality Apple provides.

SMC 5.0?

I dont know about anyone else but I'm still on 3.6!

Does that mean that SMC 4.0 is imminent?

Of course you are right, SMC 3.6 is the current version.

Nevertheless, work on Sophos Mobile Control 4.0 is finished and should be available for download, soon.
