Hi,

Can anyone let me know if there is a procedure for recovering an iphone that has been wiped ?   A the moment we have to delete the object in Sophos MDM and recreate/commission the phone again.  Since the object is already in the console is there any way to recommission/restore a handset to the same configuration ?

    Hi Andy,

    if the device was wiped, you have to re-install / reconfigure the device with SMC.

    To do so you can delete and add the device again or you can press the "Reset login data" button in the "Actions" pane within the device details. This will reset all device specific information. Once that is done, you are able to re-enroll it by sending out e.g. the task bundle you use for the Self Service Portal. 

    This is necessary as there is no "backup" or something similar of the former configuration.
