How to avoid the installation of Samsung plugin in android 2.3.6

Hi,

I have a samsung mobile with android 2.3.6 Ginger Bread, i know Samsung plugin is not compatible with this OS but when i install Sophos Mobile Control this plugin is launched automatically,  of course i get an error about compatibility problems, but after cancel it, it tries to install again and again.

How can i avoid the installation of this plugin? i know is not compatible, that's why i want to stop the installation of this plugin.

    Hi,

    have you tried to install the plugin via a task of the Sophos Mobile Control web console?

    If so, delete the task and synchronize the SMC client on the phone

    From what I know, the SMC client searches for a specific service on the Android device which normally is only there if the device supports Samsung SAFE. If this service is found, the SMC client asks the user to install the plugin.

    Was that the same behavior on your device? What happens if the Plugin is installed?

    What kind of device are you using?
