Today we've released UTM 9.702. The release will be rolled out in phases.
In phase 1 you can download the update package from our download server, in phase 2 we will spread it via our Up2Date servers.
And now our Red 15s are disconnected. Worked after removing and rejoining them except for 1 which I think is bricked
how to upgrade if your on really old versions e.g. 9.2.xxxxx still only use package to upgrade it directly to standards or is there an upgrade path to be followed?
@Michael Maertzdorf: 9.2 is really really old ;) Not sure if the box has enough disk space to automatically download and extract the updates. If you have issues, disable automatic firmware update check, get the updates from download.astaro.com/.../ and update manually. Enable automatic firmware checks afterwards. It's a long journey though.
Why is this update categorized as "high urgency" update? Is it only because of the NUTM-11688 [RED_Firmware] RED50 flash courruption fixes?
asc_ yes, that's correct. This release only contains the RED50 firmware and is highly recommended for all RED50 users. If you don't use RED50, there is no urgency to install the release now.
Updatet 22 Devices. 1 failed, some took a long time to come up again
Our RED 15 also disconnects after a few days.. Hope a restart will help
After upgrading to UTM 9.702, I see that the OpenSSH version is still at 6.6.1p1, which seems rather old. The latest OpenSSH release is 8.2. Does anyone know if you can manually upgrade OpenSSH on Sophos UTM?
with the date of installation, a Deutsche Telekom PPPoE Interface always shown as Offline and is no longer participating in WAN Failover.
SG135 / Firmware version: 9.702-1 / RED 15w
When RED is in Operation mode: Transparent / Split, a route is not created in the Sophos SG routing table to get back to the source network (behind the RED).
A standard static route being created, resolves the issue - places a route in the routing table and connection is now working. example;
192.168.1.0/24 -> Interface RED (reds1)
User Group Networks not working in firewall rules. Only assigned network objexts of individual users objects will work used in a firewall rule.
