We are happy to announce yet another enhancement in Phish Threat, the option to “Turn off reporting to Sophos Labs”.
If a user clicks on the ‘Report to Sophos’ add-in to report a non-campaign, real suspicious email, the email is forwarded to the admin mailboxes as configured in Sophos Central. Also, a copy of the email is sent to Sophos Labs for further analysis. Previously, the customers didn’t have the option to opt out of sending a copy to Sophos Labs.
With this enhancement, admins now have the capability to opt out from sending a copy of the reported email to Sophos Labs. This empowers customers who may have reservations about sharing their emails with Labs, and it allows them greater control over the information they choose to share.
