SEC 5.5 Synchronization Properties

Hi,

We are running SEC 5.5 and I have encountered an Issue with the AD integration with SEC.

The issue is that we have is that the synchronization keeps on adding PCs that have been previously removed from the SEC. We currently have over 1000 unmanaged computers, which is just not anywhere near true, could be legacy stuff still in AD.

When I right click on our server, or groups within the group tree, the option  Synchronization Properties are greyed out, so I have no oversight there.

I have checked my permissions, and the account i am using has Sophos admin, and full admin permissions.

Thanks a lot for your help,

Kind Regards,

Carl

  • Hello Carl,

Synchronization Properties should be available in the top-most synced (green) group.

Computers removed from AD move to the Unassigned group where you should be able to delete them. Computers re-appearing under a synced group are another matter, but then they are in the AD container for which the group is a mirror.
