Clustered/Non Windows Devices Machines

Hi,

We have a number of clustered hostnames and non Windows devices (i.e a NAS) on our AD as a computer name and they are in a OU that is not sync'ed via SEC (ver 5.5.0) however they keep appearing, admittedly fully greyed out and unknown Operating System. Is there anyway to stop them from appearing?

Thanks

  • Hello pdturbo80,

AD sync mirrors the OU containers - thus where computers appear in SEC's group tree reflects the OU(s) where the computer objects are found. Please note that the complete tree below the sync point is mirrored.
Grey means not managed, and the OS is taken from the attribute in AD which might be empty or some obscure value.
