upgrade database failed 520 to 550

Hi,

 

I have tried to upgrade 520 to 550 and I had an error so I did the new database 550:

 

C:\sec_550\ServerInstaller\DB\Core>InstallDB.bat (local)\sophos server2 SOPHOS550
Sophos_InstallCore550DB.log

 

And then:

 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Enterprise Console>UpgradeDB.exe -debug -sourceVer
sion=520 -reset

I have changed the permissions to db_owner

I have tried many times to deattach and then do it again but nothing works!!!

I can see that the database 550 has data now but it does not finish properly for some reason.

Can you help? I am desperate, thanks.

    Hello Jose Bordetas,

    the stored procedure 'dbo.RedirectSynonyms' is created by the UpdateSophosSecurity.bat script - did you run this as well? You should then run UpgradeDB.exe -reset before running it again to upgrade.
