Sophos with Norton Ghost..

I have installed Sophos on one PC and scheduled a custom scan to run.  I wish to image this PC and push it to 100 PCs and follow the same scheduled scan.

Problem is when I setup a scheduled scan in Sophos with local administrator account COMPUTERNAME\Administrator, the computer name is different for the other 100 PCs.


Can this be take care of at the local level?  Or this must be administered in the sophos server settings?

    Hello Jim,

    first, if you image PCs please read this article. In general I suggest using SEC to manage Sophos.

    Untested:

    A scheduled scan consists of the configuration and a scheduled task. After you have created the scan you will find this task under "Scheduled Tasks". Simply change it to run as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.
