Sophos Endpoint Client cause 100% disk usage during startup.

Hi Everyone,

I would like to know if anyone having the same issue.

During the computer startup. Sophos Endpoint client will cause the disk usage up to 100% and computer was not response for good 5-10min at least. Sometimes longer.

Anyone know what actually Sophos Endpoint Client do / scan during computer startup?

I don't think it scan whole system / disk. However the 100% disk usage shows it is very busy on doing something.

HI,

I would suggest the quickest way to understand what is going on is to exclude the C: drive entirely from on-access scanning.

Does that help, if so it would suggest exclusions will help.
