Install or not the Prevention Exploit function on the server

Hi Guys...

I have just installed the Exploit Prevention functionality on SEC 5.5, I pushed the installation on the client computer and everything is going fine.
I wonder what recommendations to install or not this function on the servers such as : WSUS, AD, DHCP, Backup server (Commvault), etc... Thanks for your help ;)

  • Hello Kader,

EXP is rather lightweight, servers aren't immune. EXP (note that it's anyway for Windows only) can also protect writable shares from modifications by a compromised client. Our Windows group would rather protect just the servers than only the clients.
what are you concerns - performance, availability, usability, or license costs?
