remote wipe for mac and PC

Does Sophos Endpoint Software support remote PC/MAC wipe? While the PC/MAC can be encrypted (that solves certain issues), there are scenarios where we want to quickly wipe the device and erase all data.

    Hello Jiri Novak,

    I'm not aware that either OS X or Windows has an inbuilt wipe. A third-party product would face the challenge to determine what is data or what not - or alternatively wipe all disks by some dire means. So no, there's no self-destruct feature.

    There are scenarios in which you want to wipe the laptop clean and literally destroy what is on the disk at least wipe common folders like Documents/Desktop etc ... same way Apple does it on Mac and iOS device.

    I was hoping since I can remotely encrypt, I would be also able to remotely wipe.
