Another small issue I have currently is that my auto syncing of AD computers into sophos endpoint control (v9.5) isnt working correctly. Its seemed to stop working about a month ago when I was actually on the old version 9.
Whats strange is that the accoutn Im using is a normal domain account. It worked when i set it up and I have not changed anything since. Now when I test syncing with this user, it will REMOVE a computer from a group, but rather than assigning it into anothe OU (when I move it in AD), it puts it in "Unassigned" in sophos and it never moves from there.
Totally defeating the object of having syncing in other words!
Oh and yes, the account was previously in the Sys Admin group in sophos itself even when it stopped working. I removed it, tried it and put it back in and tried it and it still doesnt work.
I have tried it with my domain admin account and it seems to work - the orginal account i am using is not an admin account but it did work fine before...
Are there any checks I can use to see if there is anything wrong?
