multiple update manager schedules

We have several distribtuions managed by the update manager.  One of them is over a slow link to a remote location.  We would like this to update less frequently than near/local distribution points.  In the old EM Library you could apply a different schedult to each CID. This doesn't seem posible in the new update manager.  The schedule tab appears to apply to all distributions managed by the server.

  • HI,

Is it possible to install a SUM at the other location and give it a different schedule to pull updates rather than the remote site being pushed to?

The only other solution I can see is for a script to copy a CID from one location to the other.  Maybe the old MS tool Robocopy, that has plenty of switches to throttle, resume, etc..

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Jak
