'Mal/Conficker-A'

Hi All,

We seem to have a lot of Pc's reporting ''Mal/Conficker-A', SC reports that is has cleaned up the file involved, but then the same Pc reports having 'Mal/Conficker-A' the next day on the same file as before. Any ideas why this is happening and how to clean up permanently. PC's are running version 9.5

Hello Joetobai ,
the source for cleanup instructions is still removing W32/Confick and Mal/Conficker with Sophos Anti-Virus. As has been said several times in this forum, follow the instructions EXACTLY. Please read it carefully. The detections might be just successfully blocked attempted (re-)infections and likely you have one or more (unprotected) clients with an active infection in your network.
