Awaiting Policy Transfer?

Its been about 3 weeks since we updated our Enterprise Console  to 4.0 and our Client to 9.0. On the console it shows that several machines have the "Awaiting Policy Transfer" in the Policy Compliance field. Any idea what to do with this? I have tried to "Protect Computers" again from the console and that failed. I also tried to "Comply -With all group policies" and that didn't do the trick either. Please assist.

    Are the machines "manageable" in SEC?  For example as a test, if you stop the Sophos Message Router service on the client, do the machine show in SEC with a red cross?  This would test that RMS is working and the machine correcttly sends a log off and logon message.

    Another test would be to send the machine a scan now request, does this start if you check the client?  This would test the ability to send a message from the server to the client.

  • I have this same issue with several machines as well.

    As a test I stopped the Sophos Message Router service and did get te red cross through the system on the console.

    I don't know why this is happening.
