SAVService.exe using 99% CPU

Hello,

I have lots of users complaining that the SAVService process is killing their computers by using 99% of the CPU.  I found article 27213 and these computers have been restored to default as instructed in that article. "Scan inside archive files' is not selected, 'extensive' scan level is not selected; 'remote files' are excluded; 'scan on write' is not selected; and 'all' file extensions are not selected.

These computers are running Windows XP SP3, and have 2 gb ram and 2.70 Ghz procesors.

What can I do to correct this problem?

Thanks
