NAC Installation Error

Hello there,

Recently, I upgrade Endpoint and SEC to latest version. According to Sophos Upgrade Advisor, we must first install NAC3.5 follow by SEC4.5. But during installation NAC3.5 come out with error. So, I proceed with install SEC4.5 and lastly NAC3.5

But NAC3.5 installation shows error: Ending the installation. Unable to complete installation of Sophos NAC Application Server (1603)

OS: Windows Server 2008 Version 6.0 SP1

Any idea guys?

    Hi Starz

    We should be able to find out more information about why it ended from checking the logs.

    The first places to check will be the nac install log and the event viewer.

    The nac install log will be a txt file found in either C:\Windows\Temp or %TEMP%. In the file search for the word 'error'

    Other wise paste the log here.

    Alternatively in the Event viewer, under application, look for any MSIINSTALLER entries and the error codes.

    This should point us in the right direction to assist.
